Scott Browning
Scott's most recent roles include Jim in Windup 1957 (which he also wrote), George in Of Mice And Men and Sam in A Few Good Men both with CFCArts, Helenus in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Stonewall Bar Orlando, Francis Crick in Mad Cow's Photograph 51, Adam in Unseen Images' production of Next Fall, and Carmichael in Howler's Theatre's A Behanding in Spokane. He’s also thrilled to be working with PRT again as the last time he did was during the MySpace days!
Sarah-Lee Dobbs
Sarah - Lee Dobbs is a multi award winning LAMDA trained actor whose career has spanned over four decades. She is delighted to act in her second PRT play, the first being The Legacy in 2014. As an Orlando veteran who has graced most of the local theatres, theme parks and dinner theatres, she also coaches young professional actors at The Sarah- lee Dobbs Studio and is a dialect coach at Universal Studios. Up next ... see her at the Peach venue at Orlando Fringe this May in the musical “Fosgate Ferret Loan Officer”. Love to her husband, children, granddaughter and Doggies.
John Hardy
John began his career in Orlando in the early 90's AKA The Hollywood East years. In 92 he moved to Chicago and studied at The Actor's Workshop and Improv Olympic. While in Chicago he had the opportunity to direct Otherwise Engaged by Simon Grey and co-direct Family Malfunction at the Stage Left Theater. Since returning to Orlando in 95, he has focused on Film and TV. Recent projects include TV movies Love on the Reef, Love Marks the Spot, and How to Frame a Family, the feature film The Refugee and the critically acclaimed documentary One Second at a Time. All streaming now! John is thrilled to be returning to the stage and to work with this amazing cast and crew. His last PRT production was Blight in 2018.
Brendon Rogers
Brendon is an award winning actor, director, writer and producer. In addition to his extensive work both acting and directing in Orlando area theater, films and podcasts, Brendon is also the Executive Director of the Central Florida (CENFLO) Film Festival and is currently preparing for their 20th annual festival in Mount Dora next January. When not working on creative projects, Brendon enjoys catching up on his DVR/Streaming queue, spending time with Jennifer (his real life leading lady) and writing about himself in the third person.
Marcie Schwalm
Marcie is thrilled to be working with PRT again, after having appeared in quite a few of their productions over the past 20 years. Other favorite local roles include Karen Weston in August: Osage County (Theatre Downtown), Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Moonlight Players), and Heidi Holland in The Heidi Chronicles (Breakthrough Theatre). Marcie would like to thank her family for always being so supportive, and thank YOU, the audience, for supporting live theatre.
Robert Weibezahl
Robert grew up in New York and now lives in California. His short plays have been performed in 20 states and in the UK and Australia. Full-length plays include And Lightning Struck: Mary Shelley and the Curse of Creation (published by Next Stage Press), Which Way the Wind Blows, and Discards. His most-produced short, "Gown," is included in The Best 10-Minute Plays 2023, and monologues are published in The Covid Monologues, Playground Experiment’s 5th Annual Faces of America and The Best Women’s Stage Monologues 2024. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild.
Mike Carr
Mike lives in Orlando, FL via Boston and Chicago, and is extremely proud to be directing this fantastic cast. Some of his favorite roles and shows include The Hypnotist in An Oak Tree, Andrei in Three Sisters, and Gaston in Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Directing credits include "5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche" (2016 Orlando Fringe), and The 39 Steps (Bay St. Players). Mike has also written and directed original shows for SAK Theatre Company and is a frequent collaborator with the Acts of Love One Act Festival in Orlando. Mike appears as a Ride Guy for Universal Orlando on their YouTube channel in "The Ride Guys!" Special thanks to Julie, the kiddo, and the countless sitters who made this process possible.
Kari Ringer
Kari Ringer is an Ohio native, and is proud to work with this incredibly talented Orlando cast! Favorite Orlando shows include Evita (Orlando Shakes), Spitfire Grill (Mad Cow Theatre), Nine (Central Florida Vocal Arts), Million Dollar Quartet (Osceola Arts), and roles at Winter Park Playhouse, Orlando Fringe, Fringe ArtSpace, and Universal Orlando. Otterbein College BFA 2009. Thanks to Mike for the opportunity, and to 7-11 for pre-rehearsal Diet Dr Pepper.
Bonnie Sprung
Bonnie is thrilled to design a set for this new play. Bonnie has a BA from Hofstra in Set Design and Graphics, along with her AA from VCC in Fine Art. She has done set design, scenic painting, make-up and stage management for over 300 shows in Orlando and New York. She worked as Set/Scenic designer for the BCC Summer Fine Arts and the JCC Center Players. Stage Manager, Sound and Graphics for Southern Winds Theatre. She has also designed for Florida Theatrical Association, The Ensemble Company, SparKyl Entertainment and many more. Some of her nominated designs include The Flick, Bat Boy the Musical, Torch Song, Clybourne Park, Perfect Arrangement, Three Days of Rain, Hysteria and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf. Bonnie has over 30yrs. experience in curating and judging art exhibits and thespian festivals. She is on the Seminole Cultural Arts Council Board and was named artist of the year 2024.
Our Season
PRT is now the 3rd longest-established theater company in Orlando, behind the Shakespeare Center and the Orlando Family Theater. Not bad for a volunteer-led theater founded by 4 folks who just wanted a place to develop their craft!
